The holy month of Ramadan began at sunset on Wednesday, March 22, 2023. In the evening, after the appearance of the crescent Moon, it became clear that the first day of fasting is approaching. 

In the evening, in the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina, you could see Muslims going to pray at the Gazi Husrev-Bey's mosque – one of the oldest mosques in Sarajevo, dating back to the Ottoman period.
